Safety Plan
Safety first - always. Here at North Haven Pride we take safety very seriously and understand that safety is also a top priority for many of our attendees. Please take a moment to review our safety plan. Send an email to NorthHavenPride@gmail.com with any question.

Our Recommendations
Here is a quick list of recommendations we are making for attendees.
1.
Our Safety Captain, North Haven Police, and CERT, will have a presence and collaborate to make this event run safely
2.
Familiarize yourself with the Pride event layout
3.
Attend with a Pride Buddy or Group and share a safety plan with them
4.
Pick a spot to meet if you separate from your Pride Buddy or Group
5.
If attending alone, tell someone where you are
6.
Be aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts
7.
Bring enough hydration for the duration of the event
8.
If protesters are present, keep your distance and do not engage
9.
Report any suspicious activity to safety captain or police on site
10.
Plan to attend event with a fully charged phone
11.
North Haven Pride volunteers and organizers will be in North Haven Pride tees with lanyards stating their role
12.
Notify event organizers of any harassment
13.
Volunteers will be trained in de-escalation practices
